What is Cops and Karens?

Cops and Karens is a free iOS app that gives e-bike and Sur-Ron riders a live, crowdsourced map of neighborhood activity. Riders tap to drop an anonymous pin, and everyone nearby sees it seconds later.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. Core map features — viewing reports, dropping pins, setting your boundary — all work anonymously with no sign-up. An optional account lets you set a rider handle and customize your profile.

Is Cops and Karens available on Android?

Not yet — the app currently ships on iOS 16.6 and later. Android support is on the roadmap.

What can I report on the map?

Anything relevant to riders on your route: checkpoints, patrols, road rage incidents, wrecks, hazards, or other activity worth a heads-up. Reports are meant for local awareness and responsible community reporting, not to encourage unsafe or unlawful riding.

Does the app collect my personal data?

No. Cops and Karens is built to work without collecting personal data, and map reports are anonymous by default.

How do neighborhood boundaries work?

You draw the area you actually ride — your commute, your neighborhood, your usual loop — so the map and any alerts you turn on stay focused on what's relevant to you instead of noise from across town.
